7. Make your own book planter

You’ll need
- Vintage book
- 2-3 small succulents
- Potting soil (small amount)
- 1 exacto knife
- Parchment paper
- White glue
- Dry moss
Steps
- Rub layer of white glue against the paper binding so the pages stick together
- Measure area and cut a square for your planting. The cut doesn’t need to be clean or pretty – the only page that will show is the top one. The hole should be at least 3.5-4cm deep.
- Line hole with parchment paper (to prevent water damage to book)
- Place succulent in hole and repack the soil around it
- Cover soil with dry moss or you can leave the soil exposed
- Cut the edges of the parchment paper so they are hidden
