If you thought entering your 60s meant you had to tone things down in the style department, think again.

Deborra-lee Furness, 62, has proved once again she’s no stranger to a wild outfit, showing off a neon green and black ensemble as she joined husband Hugh Jackman, 50, at the premiere of his new film The Front Runner in New York City on Tuesday.

The Aussie actress paired the striking look with a matching black bag, patterned leggings and open-toed platform shoes. Meanwhile, Hugh dressed to impress in a brown suit matched with a white dress shirt and grey tie.

In the film, Hugh portrays American former senator Gary Hart, who was considered the front runner for the 1988 Democratic presidential nomination. The film — set to hit cinemas November 7 — is based on the 2014 book All the Truth Is Out: The Week Politics Went Tabloid, written by American journalist Matt Bai.

It’s the third time in a month the loved-up couple have made an appearance together on the red carpet. Last week they made quite the fashion statement at the opening night of new play The Ferryman in New York City.

Deborra-lee didn’t disappoint in the style stakes as she stepped out in an all-black ensemble that included a chic button-up and sheer pants, which she teamed with black-and-white platform brogues — adding an edgy flair to the relaxed look.

She completed the bold look with statement black sunnies, and wore her hair tied back in an effortless style for the event. She also opted for flawless make-up, keeping things simple with a hint of blush and a pink lip.

The actors met on the set of the Australian drama Corelli in 1995 and have been going strong ever since.

Earlier this year, the X-Men star posted a touching tribute to his wife for their 22nd wedding anniversary. Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “I believe in life we need to see and truly be seen by the most important people in our lives. Deb, from day one, we had that. 22 years later… it only gets deeper. You and the kids are the greatest gift I will ever receive. I love you a gazillion times around the world.”

The Aussie hunk is well-known for his long-running role as action hero Wolverine in the X-Men film series, and his roles in romantic drama Australia and most recently in The Greatest Showman.
