Olivia Newton-John struck down by painful health issue

Olivia Newton-John has postponed concerts in the US and Canada, revealing she is battling sciatica.

If you’ve ever had sciatica, you’ll know just how painful it can be.

And now Olivia Newton-John is feeling the same pain.

The Aussie singer and actress has been forced to postpone a series of concerts in the US due to ongoing issues with her sciatica.

Her management posted on social media that her concerts for the month will be rescheduled as a result of a “bad issue” with sciatica.

The 68-year-old was due to perform in Canada and the US, but will now seek treatment for the ongoing pain along her sciatica nerve.

If you’ve never had sciatica, then consider yourself lucky.

The common health condition affects the lower body, sending shooting pain down the lower back and legs.

In some cases it can even result in surgery, although it’s unclear if Newton-John will require surgery.

As you would be aware, Newton-John is no stranger to health issues – including her infamous battle with breast cancer and subsequent mastectomy back in the ’90s.

Have you ever felt the pain of sciatica? What advice would you give to Olivia Newton-John about managing the condition?
