When it comes to pre-dinner snacks, nothing beats the classic biscuit and dip duo. This guacamole recipe is so quick and easy whether you are entertaining guests or just for your own healthy snack.
The best thing about this dip is it doesn’t just suit biscuits. You can also pop it in the fridge and use it on sandwiches, wraps or a piece of toast in the morning. It’s so easy, yet so good!
2 ripe avocados, halved, stones removed, peeled
60ml (1/4 cup) fresh lime juice, plus extra to serve
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 ripe tomato, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 small fresh red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped
Salt & ground black pepper, to taste
- Mash together peeled avocados and lime juice in a medium bowl until almost smooth.
- Add in onion, tomato, garlic, chilli and season with salt and pepper. Mix together well with a spoon.
- Serve with the extra lime juice squeezed over the top.
