Tina Arena, or Tiny Tina as she was known on Young Talent Time, has had a big career both in Australia and overseas.
She’s been in the industry for 40 years and she’s not even 50.
To celebrate the milestone Tina has launched her latest album, but has brought a few of her music friends along for the ride.
Greatest Hits & Interpretations, released on April 7, includes a duet with fellow Young Talent Timer Danni Minogue, pairing up for the first time since the show. The album debuted at number two on the Aria official album charts.
Taking to Instagram while recording, Danni Minogue said she was excited to be singing Sorrento Moon with Arena, as it was her dad’s favourite song of Tina’s.
“We both started young in the industry and we’ve stayed really good friends through the years, but this is the first time we’ve reunited vocally since the early 1980s!” Danni Minogue wrote.
Also joining her on the album are Jimmy Barnes, Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas and Kate Miller-Heidke.
Over the Easter weekend Tina also paired up with another Aussie icon Effie, for the Good Friday Appeal.
