They’ve been married for 17 years and it looks like there’s still plenty of romance left between Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith. The loved-up duo, who were accompanied by their model son Dylan, beamed as they posed together at Wimbledon in London on Friday.

Brosnan, 65, looked typically dashing in a black suit, which he kept casual by opting not to wear a tie, but it was his wife who stole the show in a stunning pink frock.

Smith, a journalist and former model, looked sensational in the flattering shift dress which was embroidered with clashing orange flowers. The former model paired her stunning A-line frock with a pair of bright orange heels, and opted for minimal makeup for the occasion.

The Hollywood star met Smith in 1994 while on holiday in Mexico, and it was love at first sight. They tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Ballintubber Abbey, in Ireland, in 2001.

Brosnan’s first wife, Cassandra Harris, died from ovarian cancer in 1991, leaving Pierce a single father to their son, Sean, and Cassandra’s two children from her previous marriage, whom Brosnan adopted after their father died in 1986.

Tragedy struck the family again in 2013 when, at just 42, Charlotte sadly lost her battle with the same disease that claimed her mother’s life.

Brosnan, who is undoubtedly best known for his role as 007, will be back on the silver screen soon when the sequel to musical hit Mamma Mia is released this month.

The actor will reprise his role as architect Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, which will pick up the story a few years after Sam married hotel owner Donna, played by Meryl Streep, at the end of the first movie.

War Horse star Jeremy Irvine, 27, has also joined the cast, playing the role of a younger version of Pierce’s character, while ‘young Donna’ will be played by Downton Abbey star Lily James.

Are you a fan of Pierce Brosnan? Will you watch the Mamma Mia sequel?
