Each year on the third Monday of February, the people of America enjoy a long weekend in celebration of first president of the United States, George Washington’s birthday. It is also a chance for people to honour all other Americans who have served as president over the years.

It has been somewhat of a busy time for the Trump’s who also welcomed the Colombian president and his wife to the White House this week.

Wearing a stylish pink Fendi coat, which has since sold out, Melania looked beautiful standing with Colombia’s President Iván Duque Márquez and his wife First Lady Ruiz Sandoval. The first lady, who has been married to Trump since 2005, added sky-high stilettos to the elegant look and showed off her legs as she flashed a rare smile alongside her guests.

The two presidents had planned to meet back in December following the G-20 Summit in Argentina, but cancelled the meeting in Bogota due to scheduling conflicts.

Posing for photos outside the White House, the first lady stood tall in nude heels while the Fendi coat, featuring matching pink fur cuffs, fell gracefully to her knees.

Keeping with a natural look, the first lady chose to go without jewellery, while using dark mascara to highlight her eyes and a hint of blush on her cheeks. As for her hair, the mother-of-one kept with her usual down wavy style.

The meeting came as the US president faced heat from local media in the US, after he installed a room-sized golf simulator game at the White House, which allows him to play virtual rounds at courses all over the world by hitting a ball into a large video screen.

The Washington Post first published the claims and reported that the system replaced an older, less sophisticated simulator that had been installed under President Barack Obama. Trump’s system cost about $50,000, which he paid for out of his own pocket, and was put in during the last few weeks in a room in his personal quarters, a White House official reportedly told the paper.

The move has raised a few eyebrows given Trump’s avid distain for Obama’s golfing habits when he was president. Before he took office, Trump repeatedly criticised Obama for how much he played golf during his tenure and claimed that if he was to be elected he would be too busy working to hit the links himself.

However, in January The Washington Post calculated the number of times Trump had played golf since becoming president and found he played one game of golf every 5.4 days in office, far more often than Obama, who played once every 8.8 days.
