When it comes to red carpet fashion there is no denying that Jamie Lee Curtis knows precisely what styles flatter her figure the most, and the actress knocked it out of the park once again last night as she stepped out in New York City.
The 61-year-old, who is the daughter of Hollywood icons Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, stepped out on Wednesday evening for the National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala alongside a handful of her Knives Out co-stars.
Jamie smouldered on the grey carpet as she arrived at the event, smiling broadly for the cameras and striking a confident pose in the flattering ensemble which showed off her jaw-dropping figure.
The all-in-one featured tapered trousers and long sleeves and nipped the star in at the waist with a thick waistband. But it was the plunging neckline that garnered the most attention as the top featured a split all the way down to the waist, however a small velvet in-lay seemed to have been inserted to prevent the outfit from showing too much skin.
The Halloween star kept her accessories simple, allowing the chic one-piece to do the talking, adding a simple pair of black stiletto heels and white clutch bag to complete the look.
Jamie also appeared to be sporting a slightly shorter hair-do than usual, having shared a photograph of herself on social media at the hair salon earlier in the week. Her usually-white locks also appeared to have been coloured a stunning shade of gun-metal grey.
The actress was joined at the event by her Knives Out co-stars – including James Bond star Daniel Craig, Frank Oz and Michael Shannon, who plays her brother Walt in the movie – who went home with the gong for best ensemble for their performance in the whodunnit film.
The film has received rave reviews since its release at the end of last year, with a sequel already said to be in the works. The movie focuses on the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey, who passes away suddenly shortly after his 85th birthday. Detective Benoit Blanc – played by Craig – arrives at the deceased’s estate to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. Jamie Lee plays Thrombey’s daughter Linda Drysdale.
Jamie opted for another plunging black number when she attended the premiere of Knives Out in California in November, showing off her natural curves in a sparkling black ruched gown.
The gown was a perfect fit for the screen icon, tucking in at the waist, before flowing to the floor. However, instead of sporting heels, Jamie opted for black boots, and kept her accessories to a minimum with a sparkling silver ring.
Jamie recently celebrated her 35th wedding anniversary with British husband Christopher Guest, 71, with whom she shares children Annie, 33, and Thomas, 23. She marked the occasion by sharing a throwback image of the couple on their wedding day on social media.
