Starts at 60 Daily Joke: A mother went into labour during a power outage

Due to a huge power outage, only one paramedic could respond to a call-out when an expectant mother went into labour.

The house was very dark so the paramedic asked the woman’s three-year-old daughter to hold a torch high over the mother so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very diligently, the little girl did as she was asked.

The mother began to push and after a little while the baby was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and slapped him on his bottom to make him cry.

The paramedic then thanked the wide-eyed girl for her help and asked her what she thought about what she had just seen. She quickly responded: “He shouldn’t have crawled in there in the first place, give him another smack!”
