About May Green

Heeding her father’s advice that he ‘wouldn’t be dead for quids’, May Green retired early. In doing so she caught up on theatre, live music, learning new skills at workshops, and had an enormous amount of fun. Her hobbies include gardening, reading and collecting books. She also enjoys learning about the history of Australia by travelling through country towns. She convenes her local community library and is involved in a number of community events. She’s passionate about the late Australian-born American actor, Errol Flynn, and prisoner of war diaries, collecting both.
