About Barbara Penton

Barbara was born in England and moved to Australia at 16. She studied languages and literature at Monash Uni, travelled a little, worked for 20 years in the public service then took a major U-turn. Her love of animals and led her to build and run a boarding kennel/cattery in Alice Springs. After that she managed a pet shop and she now owns a thriving dog and cat grooming salon in Melbourne.
