As South Australia faces an energy crisis, one man thinks that he has the solution. Elon Musk is a billionaire tech genius behind the hugely popular Tesla cars and Tesla battery energy systems.
When people were throwing solutions for the incoming problem on the board, the vice president of Tesla said that the company could fix the problem within 100 days. His plan would involve putting Telsa battery farms in SA that would stabilise their power and help eliminate blackouts. When Mr Musk was asked if they were serious over social media he responded, “Tesla will get the system installed and working 100 days from contract signature or it is free. That serious enough for you?”

It was confirmed online that Mr Musk had a long conversation with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull about a variety of thing. Mr Turnbull thanked Mr Musk for “a great in depth discussion today about energy storage and it’s role in delivering affordable & reliable electricity”.

Mr Musk is taking the lead on the project as he also confirmed that he has had talks with the Premier of South Australia as well tweeting he was “Very impressed.” He also believes that the “Govt is clearly committed to a smart, quick solution.”
