There are a number of these incredible natural blue holes in Vanuatu due to surrounding volcanoes, however this one in particular is one of the bluest on the island. You’ll want to head to this lesser known, easily accessible blue hole because of its bar, bungalow, boardwalk and picnic area. Also because it’s family owned and although it can hold over 100 visitors at a time, you’ll find it’s generally less busy than other similar attractions.
Not to mention, it only costs $5 to enter and you receive a complimentary coconut drink upon entry!

This small beach town located on the island of Vanua Levu is regarded as Fiji’s hidden paradise and it’s no surprise why. The tropical island sits on a deep water harbour that is surrounded by a lush mountain range. As it’s a bit harder to get to, it hasn’t yet seen a massive intake of tourists and is the perfect place to have an authentic experience with Fijian culture.
The eye-catching island was rated so highly that it was selected as the location for the newest season of Australian Survivor.

There’s no shortage of magical waterfalls in Samoa, but Sauniatu is one of the must sees. The glistening water is surrounded by a lush green jungle unlike anything else. It’s perfect for relaxing on the rocks and letting the therapeutic sounds of the water send you into a trance.
The best part is, the falls are incredibly quiet as the track is fairly unknown to the public. However, the 7 kilometre drive is extremely bumpy so be careful and make sure you have a spare tire just in case. Also, the area is owned by the Mormon Church so make sure to wear appropriate clothing and refrain from drinking or smoking.

However, Lifou Island is one of the few places in New Caledonia that has remained basically untouched. Although tourists do visit often, they usually only stay for the day and locals have learnt how to preserve their relaxed culture. The stunning scenery and quiet, authentic lifestyle is a must-see, even if just for a day.
