Grim astrological forecast ahead of the King’s coronation: Could Charles abdicate?

May 06, 2023

The Royal Family should have known better than to schedule King Charles III’s Coronation on the date of a lunar eclipse in Scorpio and Mercury and Pluto retrograde.

Royals have a long historical link to astrology and should have been wary of picking Saturday, May 6th’s, big event, due to the fact eclipses can result in unforeseen events.

I wouldn’t have chosen this day, it doesn’t have sufficient useful energy to aid a kingship!

In early history eclipses were associated with rulers, and Babylonian scholars suggested eclipses could predict a king’s well-being or even his death.

Lunar eclipses were immensely concerning for the king in power – I’m not saying King Charles’s death is imminent, but it’s a bad omen!

Still, I don’t believe he has a strong constitution. Trouble could be brewing, and it will be a time of intense emotion.

The eclipses could also reveal secrets, and this eclipse is in Scorpio – the most secretive sign of the Zodiac.

I wouldn’t be surprised if all of a sudden unknown information surfaced from within the Royal family.

A lunar eclipse in Scorpio in the 4th house of King Charles III’s natal chart is a highly intense and transformative event. The 4th house is associated with family, home, roots, and emotions, and Scorpio is a sign that’s associated with deep psychological and emotional intensity, transformation, and power.

It could be a time of endings, closures, and deep emotional releases related to his family and home life, as well as a time of increased introspection and psychological exploration.

On a larger scale, this eclipse could signify changes and transformations related to the collective psyche and emotional landscape of the United Kingdom.

King Charles is going to be torn between what he wants to do versus what he has to do for the country. Since his zodiac sign is also Scorpio, so the energies around the date will be further amplified.

His Majesty will be under pressure to abdicate. This will be in his mind’s eye – he could actually abdicate, or he radically transforms the monarchy into something that works for him.

There could also be external pressure, but most of the pressure is within him.

The lunar eclipse moon in Scorpio is opposite Uranus and the Sun will bring intense upheaval and changes in King’s public life and kingship. This will cause strong emotional conflict, especially at home and with his family.

The Uranus and the Sun opposition signals an intense push-pull – so some kind of blow-up may be afoot, even a rebellious or revolutionary one. An independent revolt of some kind will probably be on King Charles’s mind.

During the Coronation, Mercury (the planet of communication) is also in retrograde in the fixed sign, Taurus. It’s just an illusion but has significant astrological effects. We should always expect delays during Mercury retrograde – another reason why the Coronation date may backfire.

Mercury rules communication, travel, messages and electrical devices. These can be thrown into havoc during a retrograde, and miscommunication and misunderstandings are common.

It’s not a good time to start anything new – so it’s not a good time to be crowned King. As King Charles has a fixed sign Scorpio Sun, he will likely be affected by miscommunications and misunderstandings, not only regarding his Coronation but moving forward as well.

Travel plans and important legal documents (such as Coronation documents) are also likely to be similarly affected.

He needs to ensure his name is spelt correctly and remember his marriage to Diana when she accidentally got his name mixed up. She wasn’t actually marrying the man she thought.

Pluto, the planet of power, control and permanent change, also recently moved into the Aquarius sign for the first time in more than 250 years.

On May 1st Pluto started its retrograde back into the sign of Capricorn, and it won’t return to Aquarius until January 2024.

On a historical note, the American and French Revolutions, the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, and the establishment of the Church of England by King Henry VIII, all coincided with Pluto being in the sign of Aquarius.
