WATCH: Cutest baby elephant can’t control its trunk

Baby animals are adorable, that’s just a fact of life, and baby elephants are among the cutest.

Born at a whopping 95 kilograms, these chunks of trunks gestate for nearly two years, and are able to walk just hours after birth. However, that doesn’t mean that they’re born like a regular elephant, only smaller. Oh no. They still have to learn how to do elephant-y things; including, how to control that sausage snoz of theirs.

This adorable video of a baby elephant trying and failing to control its trunk has surfaced and is probably the cutest thing the Starts At 60 office has seen since the office dog, Dior, wandered by. The ridiculously cute video was filmed by Mario Paul in the Pretoriuskop region of South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park.

With so much doom and gloom out there at the moment as we grapple with how this never-ending pandemic is messing with our Christmas groove, we thought we’d sprinkle some merry in your day.
