Catherine, Princess of Wales has shown she is a force to be reckoned with during a recent royal engagement at a fitness centre on Tuesday, February 28.

While touring the Aberavon Leisure and Fitness Centre in Port Talbot, Catherine went head to head with her husband, Prince William during a spin class, the pair tackling a 45-second sprint.

“Sorry for ruining your spin class,” William joked to other attendees as he stepped onto the bike.

William then turned to his wife to point out her choice of footwear: “You have got high heels on.”

“Not sure I am dressed for this,” Kate replied.

Despite her choice of footwear, the Princess took the win and was handed a little gold cup in recognition of her victory.

Catherine clearly left William in a spin with the Prince gasping for air following his efforts on the bike.

“Talk to you in a minute,” he told the class.

Despite his exhaustion he soon had fellow gymgoers in hysterics with his signature brand of humour.

“I think I tore my pants!” he said.

The Royal couple were in attendance at the fitness centre to learn more about how the facility was utilising fitness to help the community with their mental health.

Royal fans were quick to congratulate Catherine for her victory with some crediting William for his efforts.

“Absolutely amazing couple,” one person commented.

“Love this, ‘Catherine the Great’ wins the award but I have to give credit to William for his hard effort.”

“What a boss. Spinning in a skirt,” another said.

“Well done Catherine for cycling in a long skirt. You are a trooper x.”

Catherine’s recent victory isn’t the only time she’s caught the attention of Royal fans, during an engagement in November 2022 the Princess stole the show with the help of a “chatty” toddler.

As patron of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance, Princess Catherine was in attendance at the Colham Manor Children’s Centre in West London on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, to meet with families and mothers who were receiving mental health support after giving birth.

As Catherine prepared to leave the venue she was greeted by three-year-old, Akeem, who asked the Princess her name before adorably noting the poppy she had pinned to her jacket.

“Have you got a poppy?” the royal asked as she knelt down to chat with the child.

“No, I haven’t found one,” Akeem replied.

“Would you like mine?” Catherine offered.

“Yes,” he sweetly replied.

Catherine then offered the poppy to the toddler before asking if Akeem knew what the flower represented.

“Do you know what this is for? It’s for remembering all the soldiers who died in the war,” she explained.
