Pauline Hanson cops criticism on pub tour

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has copped backlash during a ‘political pub tour’ in Queensland.

Hanson was visiting the Longreach pub and live streamed her chat with some of the locals on her Facebook page.

Just a few minutes into the video, Hanson announced that she was shouting a round for the punters and the first 100 beers were on her.

While there were applause from some, others were less than impressed and accused her of trying to “buy your votes with beer”.

Many of the commenters also lashed out at her for siding with the decision to cut penalty rates, sarcastically telling her to “remind staff they don’t penalty rates to survive”.

Others though were impressed by her offer, with one commenter saying, “Beer in hand too. I will be voting for you”.

The video went for nearly an hour and covered a range of topics, with Hanson taking a swipe at the other politicians in Canberra at one point.

“A lot of bureaucrats down there don’t have a clue. They just went to uni, got their degree, got their piece of paper. I don’t think they’ve been out in the real world,” she said.

What do you think of this? Would you ever vote for One Nation?
