Rod Stewart says I do, again

Rod Stewart is showing no sign of slowing down.

Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster have renewed their vows, 10 years after walking down the aisle the first time. It was the third marriage for Rod.

The first time they said I do it was in a medieval monastery in Portofino, Italy.

This time around it was under under an ancient beech tree in the 45-acre grounds of their Essex home.

It was a family affair this time too, with sons Alastair, 11, and six-year-old Aiden, as well as Rod’s daughters Kimberly, 37, and Renee, 25, and sons Sean, 36 and Liam, 22, as well as Kimberly’s daughter Delilah, five, as well as around 100 guests.

They also had their adorable Cavapoo dog Bubbles taking part.

Penny wore a simple white strapless shirred dress with long lace skirt, with her hair in a simple plait, while Rod was also all in white, with a blue kerchief.

Pictures from their special day were published exclusively in HELLO magazine, with the happy couple sharing their thoughts on the day.

“Having family and friends there was everything,” Sir Rod said. “It makes you stop to think how lucky you are. With so much unrest, violence and loss in this world, family is everything,” he told HELLO.

A fee paid by HELLO to the couple for exclusive coverage of the event was donated to victims of the Grenfell fire.

As well as winning in the romantic stakes with 46-year-old Penny, the 72-year-old music legend is showing no sign of slowing down in the music stakes either.

Just a few weeks ago he was rocking the stage in Tel Aviv, Israel and was the headline at at the Isle of Wight festival in the UK.

We wish the happy couple all the best.
