Note to self: do not mess with Clint Eastwood!

The legendary actor was chatting with GQ Magazine when he let fly at today’s youth, calling them a bunch of “politically correct pu**ies”. Ouch.

He also said he was sick of political correctness and that it was time everyone learned to chill out.

“[Donald Trump’s] onto something,” he said.

“Because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now. We’re really in a pu**y generation.

Everybody’s walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist.”

The 86-year-old went on to say today’s youth are overly sensitive and need to stop trying to set the rules for what people can and cannot do.

“Oh, you can’t do that, and you can’t do this, and you can’t say that.

“I guess it’s just the times.”

He also spoke a little about Donald Trump, saying although he’s “said a lot of dumb things”, he rather vote Trump than Clinton.

“So have all of them. Both sides. But everybody — the press and everybody’s going, ‘Oh, well, that’s racist,’ and they’re making a big hoodoo out of it. Just fu**ing get over it. It’s a sad time in history.”

As far as changing the state of the world, Clint said he wants everyone to get to work and be more understanding.

“Kick ass and take names. And this may be my dad talking, but don’t spend what you don’t have. That’s why we’re in the position we are in right now.”

Do you agree with Clint? What do you think about today’s youth and political correctness?

  1. Keith Parr

I do agree with Clint Eastwood 100% good on you The world has gone mad.

  2. Nicky Connor

I agree clint but how can we change the world.

  3. Anthony Newcastle

    He’s absolutely right!
But, then again, I’m considered as fossil even before I turned 60.
Talk about being sensitive- it’s more a generation of convenience.

  4. Julia

Good on Clint,he has the guts to be honest and not frightened of cult like people.its happening all over the world, people are afraid to say what they really think ,bring back Hawk, menzies,Keating etc, they all spoke with their own minds.

    • Rudy Ralf

That is the benefit of reaching old age we will said what we think about without been afraid and I am 100% with him, but the bloody issue what can we do about to change it for future generations, I called it the nany generation over taking care by all of us.

  5. jim

Why oh why is a word meaning the plural of cat a “very rude word” ?????

    • Robert Mckinnon

You could do better than that, Clint, with one word, surely. That word has been around for ages and doesn’t say what everyone is thinking .

  6. Graeme

Couldn’t agree more with Clint. I am sick and tired of ‘Political Correctness where everyone is too scared to say anything in case they upset some overly sensitive person. And the word ‘Racist’ has been totally corrupted to mean anyone who disagrees with someones religion, way of life or point of view. Not what it really means in regards to someones ‘Race’.

  7. WENDY Philp

Couldn’t agree more. Absolutely brilliant and so true. Good on him. I wish more people had the courage of their convictions.

  8. Joan Marshall

I totally agree with Clint Eastwood on the generation of today. Like Clint I would rather vote for Donald Trump than Hillary Clinton any day. I am a woman and she makes me feel sick. A liar, a thief, tolerates a philandering husband to further her own ambitions. Listing all her foul behavior Bengazi, Chinagate, Whitewater, lies when she was a Lawyer,
bad tempered, difficult, vindictive, deleted her 3,000 e-mails which held security measures. God help us if she becomes President.

    • Ian

Gosh Joan you have been sucked in hook line and sinker.

    • Ursula Sorensen

Do you know her personally, do you? They’re pretty judgmental words if you don’t.

  9. Katherine Ingram

    I fatally agree with Clint!

    • Katherine Ingram

I did not say it before. I am sick of these trite little messages sayin “It looks like a duplicate”! What’s wrong with that anyway? Will this look like a duplicate too?
