She’s always been one of Australia’s most fashionable entertainers and while fans may be used to seeing Kerri-Anne Kennerley in fabulous frocks for red carpet events, she’s proven that lots of money or a fancy dress isn’t the only way to look trendy.

The 65-year-old was one of the special guests at the star-studded celebration for the Taylors Wines 50th Anniversary Dinner at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney earlier this week and turned heads in yet another fabulous ensemble. This time, the Studio 10 star opted to jazz up a simple pair of trousers – a clothing item most women have multiple pairs of in their wardrobe.

Showing fans just how it’s done, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant wore a pair of billowing navy-blue slacks and a matching singlet to the event. On their own, the top and pants could easily be something most women wear for their morning coffee run or for a trip to the local shops, but with the right accessories, Kerri-Anne shows that these wardrobe staples can be transformed into something more glamorous for a night out on the town.

The former Midday presenter also wore a transparent top over her singlet, complete with an eye-popping dragonfly and floral pattern. The star accessorised with a glittery handbag, a trendy pair of heels, a necklace and some rings on her fingers.

Adding a pop of colour to the outfit, Kerri-Anne wore pink polish on her fingernails and toenails and completed the look by wearing her luscious blonde locks in a wavy style.

Her latest look comes just days after the famed Good Morning Australia star attended day two of The Championships at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney. For that event, Kerri-Anne went all out by matching a pink top and a blue and pink jacket with a powder blue skirt that showed off her legs.

Adding some sparkle to the outfit, the Logie winner wore a metallic pair of heels to the event. Perhaps the highlight of Kerri-Anne’s outfit was the sophisticated fascinator the star wore over her luscious blonde locks.

Before the event, KAK took to her Instagram Stories to share her excitement with fans.

Kerri-Anne wore the same outfit when she made her emotional return to Studio 10 following the death of her beloved husband. John passed away at the age of 78 last month after several health challenges following a fall from a balcony in March 2016 that left him partially paralysed.
