She’s known for her big voice and sassy attitude and Barbra Streisand had plenty of pizzazz on display last week when she stepped out in head-to-toe black statin for a glitzy event in Los Angeles.

The legendary singer joined other celebrities and high fliers at the Chanel Dinner Celebrating Our Majestic Oceans, A Benefit for NRDC on Saturday night and turned heads with her pyjama-esque outfit.

The buttoned shirt and flared pant ensemble was dressed up with a pair of black open toed shoes, painted black toe nails and of course, going with the same colour scheme, a black clutch.

Full of confidence, Barbra strutted down the red carpet in the comfortable looking ensemble, with her straight blonde locks hanging just past her shoulders.

The two-time Oscar winner didn’t over do it with the makeup either, going for a more natural look to the event held by NBC Universal Vice Chairman Ron Meyer and his wife Kelly.

The environmentally focused, candle-lit dinner raised awareness for the oceans and wildlife currently under threat. Mention was also made to US president Donald Trump’s environmental “failures”, the #MeeToo movement and gun laws.

As for Barbra, she was most recently made headlines for cloning her beloved 14-year-old coton de tulear dog, Samantha. Streisand told the New York Times she was inconsolable when vets told her that “Sammie” would need to be put down at 14 years old. Streisand had a friend who had cloned his beloved dog, and said she thought it might be a good option for her own precious pooch.

“It was easier to let Sammie go if I knew I could keep some part of her alive, something that came from her DNA.” Streisand said.

Thankfully, the high-tech cloning worked perfectly and Streisand ended up with two new puppies, which she named Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett.

What do you think of the outfit? Is it something you would wear?
