So, how do they work? Each pair of underwear uses built-in technology, creating the perfect gusset that holds liquid and keeps you feeling dry:

How do I care for my leak-proof undies?

First things first, Boody recommends washing your undies before your first wear to help activate the technology in the gusset. 

To ensure you get the most out of your new, leak-proof underwear, follow these instructions after each wear: 

Step 1: Rinse your underwear in cold water as soon as possible after wear.

Step 2: Place in a washbag (not essential but this will help your undies last), then wash on a cold cycle – no hotter than 30 degrees. Avoid soaking or using bleach. 

Step 3: Line dry your undies only. This is recommended so that your undies can soak up the sun’s antimicrobial properties. Avoid tumble drying and ironing. 

Tip: If you’re someone who likes to use fabric softener, Boody recommends skipping this step for their leak-proof underwear, labelling fabric softener as your “undies worst enemy”. This is because it leaves a water-proof film over the gusset, preventing the absorbent technology in the underwear from doing its job properly.
