About Heather Jones

Heather has always loved words — in poetry, advertisements, letters, emails and plays. It was therefore natural for her to start experimenting with scripts, radio dramas, commercials, websites, marketing and copy. After a long period of being mentored by Ken Methold (see www.kenmethold.com) in educational textbook writing, television scripts and short story writing, Heather branched out on her own in the early-’90s. She has co-authored one primary ESL course for Hong Kong, one secondary English course for Australia, one secondary ESL course for Hong Kong and one secondary ESL course for Singapore. More recently, she wrote a self-help book Talk to Me: Conversational Strategies for Parents of Children with Autism or Speech And Language Impairments on how I taught my son Conversational Therapy. He is autistic and has speech and language impairments. After her work with him he obtained a full-time job and organises his finances, shopping and cooking and lives independently.
