Adorable Prince Louis shows off cheeky smile in newly released christening photo

When Kensington Palace released a collection of beautiful photos from Prince Louis’ christening the world fell in love with the family once more, but a new absolutely adorable fifth photo of the new addition has taken over as the definite favourite.

While the original official images photographed by Matt Holyoak were structured and featured the closest members of the family, the latest snap is more casual and shows mum Catherine sharing in a beautiful moment with her youngest son.

Shared via Instagram by Kensington Palace, the gorgeous snap was in fact taken by a completely different person who last year photographed Prince George on his third birthday.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an additional photograph taken following the christening of Prince Louis. The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do,” the post read.

Prince Louis – who has already captured the hearts of many across the world – is seen showing off a cheeky smile, with many likening him to his older brother George.

According to The Mirror we are lucky to have seen this gorgeous photograph as it is actually a part of the family’s private album.

Little Prince Louis was christened on July 9 the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace, surrounded by close family and friends including Prince Charles his wife Camilla, Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan, as well as members from Catherine’s family.

The 11-week-old royal baby wore the same beautiful christening gown that his big brother and sister wore on their own christening days, designed by Angela Kelly, Dressmaker to The Queen.

Following the official ceremony they made their way to Clarence House where the beautiful official photos were taken of the stunning family.

Catherine took centre stage as she cradled the newborn in her arms, wearing a slim-fitting cream dress and medieval-style headband.

Other photos show her sitting alongside her husband and children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

While Charlotte has her attention solely on her baby brother, George shows a rare playful side and flashes a huge grin to the photographer.
