Queen Elizabeth is set to celebrate her 92nd birthday with a star-studded concert, and she has quite the line-up of performers ready to make it a special night.

The royal family announce a stellar lineup that includes Aussie singer Kylie Minogue, no doubt because the monarch is using her special day to honour musical talent from all over the Commonwealth.

In addition to Australia’s own popstrel, Sting, Shaggy, Craig David, Anne-Marie, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Shawn Mendes will all perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 21. Sir Tom Jones, who the Queen knighted in 2006, will also take part.

Tickets for the event are open to the public, but if you’re not in the UK, the concert will also be filmed and broadcast live on BBC One and BBC Radio 2.

The palace said that the Queen and “many members of the royal family” will attend, which means the event could provide an opportunity to see the ‘awesome foursome’  – Princes William and Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and Harry’s fiance Meghan Markle – step out together yet again. That’s if William and Catherine’s baby hasn’t arrived by then, as they are set to welcome their third child any day now.

Queen Elizabeth is due to mark her birthday at least twice this year, with a birthday parade usually held in June, typically on the second Saturday of the month. Last year the Queen headed to Newbury Racecourse for a modest birthday celebration and to watch her horse Maths Prize race (he came in fifth on the day.

Spring is set to be a busy time for the royal family, between birthday festivities, Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May and the expected birth of William and Catherine’s third child.  On Wednesday, the palace released the details of Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake, which is set to be far from traditional.
