George Michael’s ex-boyfriend has revealed plans to sell the late singer’s possessions instead of getting a job and declared he’s “done with being respectful” to his ex-partner.

Fadi Fawaz took to Twitter with a series of erratic messages on Monday and slammed Michael’s family and legal team, who he has been in disagreement with since he found the ‘Faith’ star dead in his bed on Christmas Day in 2016.

The 44-year-old former hair stylist, who still lives in Michael’s  home, wrote that he’s been left with “no help” and can no longer afford to lead an extravagant lifestyle.

“Goerge Micheal [sic] items for sale if you interested please let me know,” he wrote.

“It’s a way so I can survive till we solve the problems with his family and lawyer. Since I’m left with no help and since no one is human anymore.”

He went on to say: “I am done with being respectful towards George Michael or the rest. I will fight for my right from George Michael till the last day of my life.”

Fawaz also offered himself out to the media for interviews and said “you know where to find me”.

Despite he’s apparent dire financial situation, Fawaz added: “And no I won’t get a job.”

People didn’t seem all that impressed with his rant, with one user responding, “Can’t believe what I was reading!! It’s like he feels like he’s entitled to it!! Bloody work like the rest of us,” while another wrote, “They don’t belong to you I think you’ll find this is called stealing.”

It comes after Fawaz posted a photo of an enforcement notice on Twitter, which said he owed £513 (A$947, US$735), The Sun reported.

The Australian-born stylist dated George for five years up until his death, however, according to several reports, relatives claim the pair split in 2015.

Early last year, an autopsy confirmed the legendary pop star  died of natural causes.

“As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further inquiries,” Oxfordshire’s senior coroner Darren Salter said.

What do you think? Is Fadi Fawaz in the wrong? Should you be allowed to sell off an ex’s belongings?
