Princess Eugenie shares sweet throwback photos of parents as children

Princess Eugenie shared two absolutely adorable photos of her parents as children with the public this week.

The 28-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday with the cute snaps of her mother Sarah Ferguson and and dad Prince Andrew.

Positioning them side by side, the young royal simply captioned the post: “#tbt [Throw Back Thursday] to my parents being adorable”.

In the photos a little Sarah can be seen sitting down, wearing a pair of long boots, patterned shorts and a jumper. Her chubby cheeks and curly locks make for a beautiful snap to be treasured forever.

Meanwhile a young Prince Andrew sits promptly on a floral seat, with a huge smile on his face as he holds a cute teddy bear upside down.

The adorable post has received much attention from royal fans who were quick to comment on how cute the photos were.

“Love you mom’s [sic] hair and way too cute that your dad has his bear upside down,” one person wrote.

“Too sweet @princesseugenie! I’m such an admirer of your amazing mother and your dad is so handsome,” another added.

While a third said: “These are two of the cutest images I’ve ever seen”.

This wasn’t the first time the princess has taken to social media to share throwback family photos.

Just last week Eugenie shared a vintage and previously unseen photograph of herself with her sister Beatrice when she was younger. She took the moment to cheekily poke fun at her sister’s style as a child.

“#tbt to when Beatrice wore the same outfit all the time and I loved her for it,” she wrote to her 644,000 Instagram followers.

In the photograph, a very young Eugenie and Beatrice could be seen cuddling as they smiled happily into the camera. Eugenie wore a colourful floral dress, while her older sister opted for a red and white polka dot skirt and green top. Judging by Eugenie’s comment, her sister’s outfit was one she loved and didn’t change very often.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet moment between the siblings and flooded the photograph with messages.

One person wrote: “Y’all were adorable then and adorable now! Many blessings to you both!”

Another comment read: “You remind me of my two oldest daughters. So so sweet and best friends. Love to you both!!”

A third added: “What a gorgeous photo! I have two little girls, a couple of years apart and can’t wait to capture moments like this.”
