Paul F. Verhoeven is an author, broadcaster and entertainer. His first book, Loose Units, inspired the acclaimed spin-off Loose Units podcast, which he hosts with his father John. A mainstay on the Australian media landscape, Paul has spent years working extensively as a games and pop culture journalist across print, radio and tv. After starting his career hosting Weekend Breakfast on Triple J, he went on to host and write Steam Punks on ABC TV. Paul enjoys city pop, David Lynch’s Dune, and literally anything with meringue in it. Like Loose Units, Paul’s new book, Electric Blue, is based on conversations with John about John’s years in the police force. But this time Paul focuses on John’s later years as a forensic detective, investigating some of Australia’s most terrible crimes. Electric Blue will be released in August with an RRP of $34.99.
