After her extravagant and well-publicised wedding, it’s become apparent that the royal sister isn’t curbing spending in the wake of the fairytale event. In fact, their current digs on the Sydney leg of their honeymoon makes their upward of $5,000 a night stay on the private island once owned by Marlon Brando seem like slumming it.

It’s more than many of us would spend on hotel rooms in a lifetime, but the hotel suite newlyweds Pippa Middleton and James Matthews are staying in reportedly costs a mind-boggling $19,000 per night.

The Opera Suite, clearly fit for royalty, at the Park Hyatt Sydney which the couple are believed to be staying in boasts 360 degree panoramic views of all of Sydney’s icons – the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and the beautiful harbour itself.

The room is so exclusive that the Park Hyatt doesn’t advertise the rates on its website, rather potential guests are sent the information upon request.

The hotel is clearly the place to be if you’re someone in Sydney, with other high profile guests such as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West enjoying the suite when they’ve visited in the past.

Do you think any hotel stay could possibly be worth $19,000 a night?
