Gable Tostee spotted online looking for women

Tostee with Warriena Wright on the night of her death.

A profile appearing to belong to Gable Tostee has appeared on dating site Tinder just months after he was found not guilty of murdering New Zealand resident Warriena Wright.

Tostee, who now goes by the name Eric Thomas, met Wright on the same dating site in 2014. The pair went back to his apartment where they later fought before she fell to her death from his balcony on the 14th floor.

The new dating profile shows Tostee listed under the name ‘Eric’ with a tagline reading “Shhh don’t tell Channel 9,” reports the Gold Coast Bulletin.

Photos from the profile show him laying shirtless on a bed and posing in front of a milkshake at a cafe in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.

Last month, Tostee sparked outrage after posting a message on his Facebook page for International Women’s Day, saying, “Happy International Women’s Day to all ma hoes.”

The 31-year-old has been in the spotlight since he was acquitted of Wright’s death. He gave a tell-all interview with 60 Minutes where he defended his actions after hearing audio of Wright crying out “no” 33 times.

“I restrained her to stop her from attacking me,” he said. “I don’t know what else to do. I wanted it to stop.”
