Socks

Socks are wonderful at the best of times, but now you can actually buy sock that have a pocket sewn into them with a zipper. This allows you to stash your cash far from where anyone would ever think you are hiding it. This might not be the best solution for people with smelly feet, but at least no one will want to go anywhere near your secret hiding spot.

Jackets

When looking for a jacket to bring on holiday with you, be sure to look for one that has an internal pocket sewn in. Instead of popping your purse or wallet into your bag or pocket, you can actually keep it close to your chest at all times and place into your hidden pocket.

Buttons

One of the easiest ways to become a pickpocket target is to put your wallet into your pocket. If you want to do that, but want to keep your wallet in your hands and not someone else’s, then invest in a pair of trousers or pants that have buttons on the pockets. This detail alone will make it much more difficult for people to get their hands on your items.

Bras

There are a variety of new travel bras on the market that allow women to safely store not just their money, but also documentation like passports, too. There’s no way nasty pickpockets will be able to reach your items if you hide them there!

Boxers

For the men, there are a range of underwear that feature pockets in the briefs or boxer shorts. So, even the men can stash their cash away in the most intimate place possible.

Scarves

One of the most versatile accessories to bring on a trip has got to be the scarf. Not only do they brighten up any outfit but they’re also a great way to keep covered in more modest countries. And now there is another added benefit of packing a scarf, you can get one with a hidden pocket sewn into it. You could always sew in a pocket yourself, if you’re particularly crafty.
