8,000 lucky guests will be given the opportunity to jump on board a P&0 cruise and be personally delivered to the race, from Sydney.

But it’s not just one ship that is heading to the big day, there are four cruise liners that will be making their way to Victoria for the race that stops a nation and they’re expected to inject $7 million dollars into the local economy.

There’s no need to worry about who they designated driver is, where you’re going to park the car, or how long you have to wait for your taxi to arrive, because the cruise ship, along with the series of shuttle buses to get to and from the cruise terminal, have that all taken care of.

Departing from Sydney on the 29th of October, the cruise liners arrive in Melbourne in time for the big race on Tuesday, November 1, before setting sail back to Sydney and arriving at the harbour on the 4th.
