A wine lover’s dream! Norwegian launches cruise series dedicated to wine

If you call yourself a wine connoisseur, then the latest announcement from Norwegian Cruise Line will make your day as the company is launching an exciting cruise series dedicated to wine.

The popular Meet the Winemakers series will offer a variety of seminars and activities including open-forum discussions with winemakers and other experts, intimate wine tastings, interactive cooking demonstrations and educational sessions.

Experts include Gerard Bertrand of Languedoc Roussillon, Juan Munoz of Columbia Crest, Bob Bertheau of Chateau Ste. Michelle and three-time James Beard award-winner Andrea Robinson.

“Our Meet the Winemaker series showcases our commitment to providing guests with one-of-a-kind experiences by providing them with access to today’s most innovative beverage and culinary leaders,” Andy Stuart, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, said.

“We are very proud of this season’s lineup and excited to share it with our guest.”

The series will take place on some of the company’s most innovative ships including Norwegian Joy, the cruise line’s latest ship in North America, her sister ships Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Escape and soon-to-debut Norwegian Encore and the newly-renovated Norwegian Dawn.
