The Duchess of Cambridge broke her maternity leave on Saturday as she attended the Championships at Wimbledon with her new sister-in-law, the Duchess of Sussex.

Catherine, who gave birth to her third child Prince Louis in April, looked stunning in a white Jenny Packham dress with ruffle detailing and she completed the sophisticated look with a pair of nude court shoes and a cream Dolce and Gabbana handbag.

While Meghan’s look was reminiscent of her old style before she became a royal. The 36-year-old oozed class in a striped shirt by Ralph Lauren, which she wore open at the neck, teamed with a pair of cream, wide-leg silk trousers and a AU$1,000 fedora hat.

Prince Harry’s new wife wore her dark locks tied back in her signature messy bun and finished off her Wimbledon look with a pair of oversized Illesteva Leonard sunglasses and a small navy handbag.

The Duchesses looked at ease in each other’s company as they watched German tennis ace Angelique Kerber beat Meghan’s close pal Serena Williams, who gave birth just 12-months ago, in the ladies singles final denying Williams her eighth Wimbledon title.

Catherine and Meghan also looked on from the Royal Box as Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal battled for the men’s singles title in a five-set match, which kept the audience on the edge of their seats for a staggering five hours before Djokovic emerged victorious.

The royal pair looked extremely close as they were photographed giggling and whispering to one another in the stands as they watched the tennis, after meeting a selection of young players before the match began on Centre Court.

Mum-of-three Catherine, also 36, attends the tennis championships every year as she is the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, after inheriting the role from the Queen in 2016.

Meghan has also previously attended the prestigious sporting event, as she was pictured in the stands back in 2016 amid rumours that she was dating Prince Harry.

The pair are believed to have been introduced by a mutual friend in 2016, and their relationship was confirmed in October of the same year. Harry and Meghan announced their engagement more than a year later, in November 2017, before tying the knot at Windsor Castle, on May 19.

Wimbledon finalist Serena Williams was one of the hundreds of guests invited to the ceremony in St George’s Chapel as the tennis star has been friends with the former Suits actress for several years.

What do you think? Is it nice to see the Duchesses enjoying time together unofficially?
