Prince Harry hosts Barack Obama for tea at the Palace

The pair were photographed together on the royal grounds.

Prince Harry and Barack Obama have caught up in London for the first time since the former president left office, showing the world their bromance is still alive and well.

Harry hosted Obama at Kensington Palace, where he and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge live, and was all smiles as they posed for a quick snap in the garden.

The pair have been friends for years now, bonding over the prince’s work on the Invictus Games, which were held in America last year.

They promoted the Games together in a hilarious video, with Harry enlisting the help of his grandmother and Obama teaming up with his wife Michelle.

Kensington Palace released the photo of the pair at the royal grounds, saying they discussed everything from veterans affairs to the recent Manchester bombing.

“Prince Harry hosted former US President Barack Obama at Kensington Palace today. They discussed a range of shared interests including support for veterans, mental health, conservation, empowering young people and the work of their respective foundations,” they wrote on Instagram.

It is not known whether Harry’s American girlfriend Meghan Markle was also home at the time.

The couple have been spending more time together lately, with Markle accompanying Harry to Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception last week.

Media reports on their relationship are rife with speculation they could be announcing their engagement later this year.
