Most fathers and sons enjoy the odd outing and it seems Prince Charles and William are no different.
Prince Charles and his son, the Duke of Cambridge, attended the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland earlier today.
The pair were decked out in their finest to celebrate the annual series of military tattoos and even took a Gaelic toast at the start of the event held at Edinburgh Castle.
Prince Charles was Guest of Honour and acted as Salute Taker for the evening.
In Scotland, both The Prince and The Duke hold special titles and are known as The Duke of Rothesay and The Earl of Strathearn.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo began in 1947 as the Army of Scotland’s contribution to the Edinburgh International Festival.
