Photos show resemblance between oldest and youngest royals

After the beautiful new photo released yesterday by the Royal family to celebrate Princess Charlotte’s second birthday, we noticed quite a resemblance between the youngest royal and the reigning monarch. 

The photo, taken by Charlotte’s mother Duchess Catherine who has spent her years as a mother honing her photography skills, shows the young princess wearing a cute lemon coloured cardigan over a round collared shirt, giving the camera a sweet half smile. She has clearly inherited her mother’s shiny locks, but it isn’t the only family resemblance.

While there is certainly a lot a lot of William and Catherine in Charlotte, it looks like she might be taking after her dear great-grandmother as well!

It feels like it was only yesterday the little princess was a babe-in-arms, and now she’s a toddler. The time has certainly flown by.
