Melania Trump wears insanely expensive floral coat in Sicily

President Trump and Melania pose for photographers.

Melania Trump has been showing off her wicked sense of style on her first trip abroad as First Lady, but her latest look is certainly the most eye-catching yet.

The president’s wife had all eyes on her when she stepped out in a designer floral coat overnight worth a whopping $68,000.

That’s more than the average Aussie salary of $61,000!

Just like other first ladies before her, it appears Melania has become somewhat of a fashion icon, with shoppers rushing to buy the Dolce and Gabbana coat online and dropping a $20,000 deposit just to secure the coat for themselves.

With the intricate garment the star of the show, Melania kept the rest of her outfit simple, pairing it when a cream dress and matching heels.

Later, she changed into a 1970s-inspired number for an official G7 event with President Trump.

The pair arrived hand-in-hand, with Melania showing off a shimmery silver dress complete with a high neck and billowing sleeves.

While Melania has been capturing attention for her impeccable style while abroad, her husband has been generating talk for his brash leadership style and public dressing-down of Nato members.

On Friday, he appeared to shove Nato leader and Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic aside so he could get to the front of the pack for a photograph.

He later scolded 23 of the 28 Nato members for not “paying their share” for expensive military operations around the world.

What are your thoughts on Melania’s coat? Do you like it? Could you justify paying that much for it?
