Hilaria Baldwin has opened up on social media about how her husband, Alec Baldwin, once shushed her while she was in labour with son Rafael in 2015, admitting “it never happened again”.
The yoga expert, 37, took to her Instagram Stories to share her thoughts on an article titled When my husband told me to shush during labour I knew our marriage was over.
“Alec shushed me while I was in labor with Rafa. He was on the phone ‘Shush! Can you keep it down?’. The moment he said it, he realized he sounded like an a** and he cowered,” she said.
“I’ll spare you the details of my reaction for now. But it never happened again.”
Hilaria and Alec have six children together. Carmen, eight, and sons Rafael, six, Leonardo, five, Romeo, three, and Eduardo, one and newborn Lucia, nine months. Alec is also the father of model Ireland Baldwin, 26.
Hilaria later took to Instagram once again to take a subtle swipe at her husband, posting a promotional image of Noble Newborn bottle brushes alongside the caption, “Alec pays for shushing me in labor by cleaning every bottle in the house”.
Hilaria has used her social platform to address more serious issues lately, mostly addressing her husband’s experience with PTSD.
In a recent Instagram story video, Hilaria claimed her husband, is currently suffering from PTSD – and had been “for a long time”. In the video, posted on December 9, Hilaria ranted about being a celebrity and “living in the famous world” in the aftermath of the tragic Rust shooting.
“It’s [PTSD] something that is not just from what happened recently but he’s been suffering from this for a very, very, very long time,” she said.
