Sarah Harris shares adorable first snap of newborn after giving birth

She’s one of Australia’s favourite TV personalities and Studio 10 host Sarah Harris has given birth to her new son.

The star, who recently took some time out of her busy work schedule, announced the news on Instagram.

“He’s here,” she gushed.

“Meet Harry Scanlan Ward.”

The 36-year-old shared a snap of herself in a hospital bed nursing baby Harry.

He was wrapped in a blanket while she beamed with excitement.

She continued: “Arrived yesterday weighing 4.22kg.”

“Mum is knackered, but happy. Dad says he’s doing exceptionally well, thanks for asking!”

Harry’s arrival comes just 22 months after Harris and her husband Tom Ward welcome their first child, Paul.

Just four days ago, Harris shared a post on Instagram suggesting that she was fed up with waiting to welcome her new child into the world.

In the snap, she could be seen holding her belly, while young Paul appeared to have something stuffed down his shirt to make him look pregnant.

“Waiting, waiting,” she wrote.

Thankfully she didn’t have to wait long.

Fans quickly flocked to social media to congratulate Harris and her husband.

One person wrote: “Congratulations. I hope mum and baby are doing well.”

A second message read: “Congratulations to you both on the exciting arrival of little Harry …as beautiful as his Mummy….All the best and well done Sarah xxoxx.”

A third added: “Oh bless. Just beautiful! Well worth that wait! What a snap of bliss…congrats gorgeous woman.”
