    I am fortunate to have a lemon tree that produces most of the year round. I also freeze juice for those other times. One thing though, is that you should really rinse your teeth afterwards as I believe it can have an eroding effect on tooth enamel even though its diluted.

    I would not count on it helping you lose weight. You DO NOT need to munch on any specific “superfood” to lose weight ! Just burn more calories than you absorb. I know because I’ve burnt a lot of unwanted fat, and I’m thin as hell. To get here, I’ve prepared meals from the Eat Drink Shrink recipe book.     I’m sorry, but this so “old hat”. My parents were drinking lemon juice and water, or PLJ, back in the early 1960s! It was the latest fad then, and I don’t remember it benefitted them or others particularly.

    I’ve been doing this for years together with 2 tbl spoons or 30ml of extra virgin olive oil every morning.

    I have tried it but after a few days my urine burns and my stomach hurts, is it the acid ?
