A grandmother had suffered from serious hearing problems for a number of years before she finally went to the doctor to be fitted for a hearing aid.

The doctor told her this particular aid would return her hearing to 100 per cent so she couldn’t wait to try it out.

A few months later she returned to the clinic for a check up. “Your hearing is absolutely perfect,” the doctor told her, “your family must be delighted!”

“Oh, I haven’t told them,” she replied, “I’ve just been enjoying sitting around and listening to their conversations.”

“I’ve changed my will three times already!”
