The Duchess of Cambridge debuted two more stunning outfits on Thursday as she continued her royal tour of Pakistan alongside husband Prince William. Catherine has looked effortlessly stylish on every outing of the tour so far, whilst also respecting the country’s Islamic culture by selecting a series of traditional outfits.

For the couple’s first outing of the day yesterday, the mother-of-three opted for a casual shalwar kameez in a flattering shade of cream which allowed her to move around comfortably as she got stuck into a game of cricket. The duchess, who is known for her love of sports, joined in with a game, alongside the duke, as the pair visited the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

Laughing and smiling throughout, Catherine stole the show as she took the sporting challenge in her stride, taking turns to bat as the Cambridge’s played alongside local young players and professionals on day four of their tour, which has been described as the couple’s “most complex” overseas trip to date.

Catherine completed her dressed-down look with a classic pair of white canvas shoes and wore her dark hair up in a ponytail, opting for convenience over style for the unconventional tour activity.

Prince William also took turns batting with his wife, however the 37-year-old stuck to his usual attire for the game, wearing a casual pale blue shirt and navy blue slacks, swapping formal shoes for a pair of bright blue Nike trainers.

Later in the day, Catherine switched her casual cricket attire for something more sophisticated, stepping out in a stunning teal green and gold shalwar kameez, made from a much lighter chiffon-style material.

Catherine looked sensational as she arrived at the Badshahi Mosque, which is the most iconic Islamic site in Lahore, set in the heart of the Walled City. Kate and Wills were given a tour of the mosque and courtyard, before joining a discussion with local religious leaders to learn how they are promoting inter-faith harmony within their communities.

“The couple’s visit to Badshahi sees them follow in the footsteps of The Duke’s father, The Prince of Wales @ClarenceHouse, who visited the Mosque with The Duchess of Cornwall during a tour of Pakistan in 2006, and his grandmother Her Majesty The Queen @TheRoyalFamily, who visited in 1961,” a spokesperson from Kensington Palace wrote on Instagram.

As the couple toured the iconic religious site, Catherine followed the country’s customs and covered her head with a beautiful headscarf that matched her outfit perfectly. While Prince William swapped his casual shirt and pants for a crisp beige suit and tie.

Kate also wore the outfit for a visit to the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, where the royal parents joined seven-year-old Wafia for tiaras and tea. The hospital, which is Pakistan’s largest tertiary care cancer hospital, was built by Prime Minister Imran Khan, who William and Catherine spent time with earlier this week.

The prime minister has known the Duke of Cambridge since he was a child, as the former international cricket star – along with his former wife Jemima Goldsmith – were close friends of the late Princess of Wales. Diana visited the country on three occasions, making the trip for the final time in 2006 before her tragic passing in 1997.
