Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been married for 38 years, and it seems the celebrity pair are still very much in love. Over the weekend, the happy couple celebrated their wedding anniversary with a series of throwback snaps.

The Black Sabbath rocker, 71, took to social media to share two adorable throwback pictures from their wedding day, alongside a sweet caption that read: “Happy Anniversary My Love!”

In the photos, Sharon, 67, is wearing a traditional white lace gown and veil, while Ozzy opted for a crisp white suit, lilac shirt and matching white bowtie, and green laurel garland around his neck.

Meanwhile, Sharon posted a montage of the pair’s cutest moments throughout the years. She captioned the sweet post: “40 years together, 38 years of marriage, why did it go so quickly? Wasn’t it yesterday our kids were babies, we were young and thought we knew everything. Your love makes me feel safe and brave, you are a part of me, you’re in my soul forever my darling. Always, your Sharon.”

Many fans were quick to wish the couple a happy anniversary, with one writing: “Happy anniversary to you both.” Another added: “Happy anniversary. Much love to you and your family.” While a third wrote: “The cutest couple.”

The famous couple tied the knot back in 1982 in a lavish ceremony in Maui, Hawaii. Sharon and Ozzy have three children together, Aimee, 36, Kelly, 35 and Jack, 34.

It comes just months after Ozzy revealed he is closer than ever to wife Sharon after being forced to spend more time at home as he recovered from a horror fall in 2019. The 71-year-old musician underwent surgery last year after suffering a fall which aggravated a neck injury that he originally sustained during a quad biking accident in 2003.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph Magazine, the Black Sabbath rocker admitted he was initially worried about being confined to the house following surgery as he has “never had a year off in his life”. But Ozzy said the recuperation time had the opposite effect, actually bringing the couple closer together.

“To be perfectly honest with you, we’ve gotten closer,” he told the publication. “I’m 71 now, she’s 66 or something, and at this time of my life I’d like to have got out OK.”
