They first announced in October they were expecting their first child and it appears Prince Harry and Meghan have confirmed when their bundle of joy will arrive.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met members of the public during a special royal visit to the English town of Birkenhead on Monday, where reports claim 37-year-old Meghan let slip when she was due to give birth.
Royal Correspondent for UK publication The Sun explained on Twitter that the former actress told royalists at Birkenhead that she was six months pregnant and due to give birth at the end of April or the start of May.
“#DukeAndDuchessOfSussex wow the crowds in Hamilton square, Birkenhead. #Meghan told wellwishers she’s six months pregnant and is due end of April/start of May,” Andrews tweeted. “She also said they didn’t know whether #babysussex is a girl or a boy as they want a surprise!”

Carla Gandy, one of the people in the crowd at the event, confirmed to People that Meghan told them how far along she was.
“We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy,” Gandy told People.
The royal family had previously announced that the baby was due sometime during the UK spring, but didn’t confirm an exact month or due date.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” a statement from the Palace said at the time. “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

For the latest outing, a heavily pregnant Meghan stepped out in a vibrant red coat from Canadian brand Sentaler. She wore an eye-popping purple dress that showed off her growing baby bump and accessorised with a brown leather bag and a red pair of heels that matched her coat perfectly.
The Duchess wore her luscious brunette locks in a bun, while husband Harry looked as handsome as ever in a grey coat and smart pair of trousers.
Kensington Palace’s Twitter page updated fans of Harry and Meghan’s very busy day. It began with the couple meeting local veterans and members of the Birkenhead Institute Old Boys. They also visited the Feeding Britain supermarket – which allows local families to buy their weekly shopping at a discounted price.
They also paid a visit to women’s charity Tomorrow’s Women in Wirral and were even treated to a dance performance by junior dance troop The Hive from Wirral Youth Zone.

Mum-to-be Meghan was spotted just last week showing off her baby bump during a visit to a charity called Smart Works. And if being a parent isn’t a job in itself, the former Suits star was also made patron of The National Theatre and The Association of Commonwealth Universities after the Queen passed over the helm after holding the roles for 45 and 33 years respectively. Meanwhile, she will also be patron of Smart Works, as well as animal charity Mayhew.
