Pierce Brosnan’s glamorous wife Keely looks sensational in sequins and velvet

They have been married for more than 18-years but Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith looked as smitten as ever as they posed on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday evening.

The showbiz couple stood arm in arm at The Beverly Hilton and showed off their sophisticated sense of style, both opting for all-black outfits, complimenting each other’s looks perfectly as they smiled for the cameras.

Keely, who married the Irish actor in 2001, looked sensational in a flowing black gown for the 77th annual awards ceremony which featured an intricate floral pattern all over the skirt, made up of tiny sparkling black sequins, and a plunging neckline which showed off her natural curves. The 56-year-old American journalist then added an extra touch of opulence to the look in the form of a black velvet blazer.

She wore her hair down in an effortless style and kept her make-up natural, showing off her au naturel beauty, while a pair of simple black heeled sandals, sequinned clutch bag and silver droplet earrings provided the finishing touches.

Meanwhile the James Bond star looked every inch as dapper as his on-screen alter ego as he opted for a striking dinner jacket which featured an eye-catching chevron pattern and black satin lapels, which perfectly matched his bow tie. The 66-year-old paired the jacket with a simple black dress shirt and a pair of smart black trousers which featured a contrasting stripe down the outer leg.

Pierce completed the sophisticated look with a pair of patent leather shoes and debuted some striking facial hair, as he showed off a white moustache and goatee.

While Pierce handed out an award during Sunday night’s ceremony, the couple no doubt primarily stepped out together to support their sons Paris and Dylan who were named Golden Globe Ambassadors at this year’s ceremony. In fact, the pair made history by becoming the first brothers to be named ambassadors.

Dylan, 22, and Paris, 18, seem to have inherited their dad’s dress sense as they put on a striking display alongside their famous parents on the red carpet before the event. Both boys were dressed in crisp tuxedos with white dress shirts and classic black bow ties.

It is tradition for an ambassador to be selected each year, who then aligns themselves with a worthy cause to be highlighted during the broadcast of the ceremony. Previous ambassadors include Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s daughter Simone, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne and Kelsey Grammer’s daughter Greer.

Last night’s outing marks the first time Keely and Pierce have been snapped out and about together at a star-studded event in a number of months, as they were last pictured together at the Wimbledon Championships in July last year.

Pierce looked typically dashing in a black suit for the casual outing, which he dressed down by opting not to wear a tie, but it was his wife who stole the show in a stunning pink frock.

The former model looked sensational in the flattering shift dress which was embroidered with clashing orange flowers. The former model paired her stunning A-line frock with a pair of bright orange heels, and opted for minimal makeup for the occasion.
