About Gus Borg
Born in Malta 1936, Gus married and has three children and nine grandchildren. He joined the Royal Navy at age 15.5, then transferred to Royal Australian Navy in 1955 to join his migrant parents. He was paid off in 1961 and began a career in production engineering until retirement. Gus is a hopeless romantic and will talk to a lamp post if it looks like it's listening. He's rather read than sleep. He likes making toys, doing odd jobs around the house, listening to good music and even more, writing. His desire to leave a ‘back trail’ for my descendants to trace their roots, led Gus to write - and successfully self-publish - Children of Maleth. He also enjoys adding to his constantly growing library of family videos, and showing school children his collection of toys.
