What Pisses Me Off: Pain

Mar 12, 2017

I am undecided as to what has pissed me off more, my toothache or my stupidity in the way I have dealt with it. My dilemma started a month ago with a mild ache but quickly escalated into severe, and it didn’t matter how much I tried to ignore the pain it continued. Next was my bright idea to nurse it, that lasted two days before an infection hit me with a vengeance. I was beyond miserable with terrible pain shooting off in all different directions from my gums; I was beyond pissed off, I am sure I prayed for death at one stage.

A couple of years ago I had a similar problem and needed to have an extraction, my needle phobia is very real and even though they used a numbing agent, knowing that the needle was coming became too much and my tremor kicked in with vigour, the nurse had to hold my head to try and steady the shaking, it was terrifying and embarrassing.

When I get full of pain logic sadly goes out the window and stupidity takes over. This time on day three out of sheer desperation I started having a tablespoon of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar in a small glass of water. I had been having it a month beforehand for something, but I cannot remember what it was. The effects were immediate, and within two days the infection was gone and the tooth no longer hurt. I have not been to the dentist yet, I know I have to go, but it will be at my pace maybe when I am not so broken.

I am still taking the Apple Cider Vinegar, and while laying in bed one morning, I was thinking that it is great that my heavily veined left leg has not been pissing me off lately. I lifted my leg and could not believe how the main varicose vein has calmed down, it is still there, but it is not angry looking. The vein that was wrapping around behind my knee is gone. Anybody that has varicose veins knows the type of pain I am talking about. Over the years, I have tried many things to get relief. Being a carer, I get easily distracted and tend to forget about me. It’s been four years since I have tried anything to help that leg and the only thing I have been doing different lately is taking the Apple Cider Vinegar

My other knee is usually very social it tends to go out a lot more than the wheelie bin does but lately, it has been very well behaved. I have also noticed it’s been weeks since I have felt the need to strap it. The gout I get in my big toe on my left foot has not been active at all. It is during the quiet times when I realise things are improving like my chronic dry eyes are no longer chronic or dry. I just must remember to keep taking the Apple Cider Vinegar. I recommend it as it is one product that does not Piss Me Off!
