Stars shine on red carpet arriving for the Oscars

The Oscars are the big event of the year.

The stars have arrived on the red carpet, ready for today’s Oscars announcements.
There is all the usual glamour to be seen, with red, white and blue popular, with classic style also making a comeback.
One little accessory that can be spotted amongst the stars today, a blue ribbon to show solidarity with the American Civil Liberties Union.
The ACLU reached out to major nominees and other stars to participate in their Stand With The ACLU initiative and show their support for the organisation, which works to stand up for the rights of Americans as guaranteed under the Constitution.
