We’ve watched little Robert Irwin grow up right before our eyes.

While he might not have shared as much of the spotlight as his sister Bindi, it looks like that might be about to change.

The 13-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin has made Australia proud on his first appearance on a US talk show.

He showed us all he’s a natural with animals, just like his Dad, during an appearance on The Tonight Show.

Robert brought a python, crocodile and a sloth in for host Jimmy Fallon to play with during the funny segment.

Many, including Fallon himself, commented on how much Robert was like Steve.

“It’s so cool to see you like this,” Fallon said.

“You’re actually your dad.”

And he’s not the only one making that comparison.

Bindi Irwin took to social media to share her pride, comparing a photo of Robert and Fallon to a photo of Steve with former The Tonight Show host Jay Leno.

“Tears in my eyes. So proud of Robert tonight. Robert, you are more and more like dad every day. I’m forever thankful to be your sister.” she wrote on Twitter.

Robert told Fallon he was “the luckiest kid on planet Earth” and that working with animals was in his blood.
